The next time you read a story about a person what you will most likely find are phrases that describe a person who has gained new freedom and opportunity because they now use Digital brand X, Y, or Z.
What you won't find as easily are stories that are just about people and what they do or what they have done. Usually the "story" about that person's achievement will be linked to a new technological advance.
As filmmakers we should notice this story "trend" and fight against it, otherwise our own sense of story will be corrupted if all we do is read stories about how a new brand of x,y, and z made someone successful.

I'm not just saying digital video. I'm saying digital anything. There are other stories in the world besides the world of digital, be it digital video, or digital technology in general.
